PETITION DRIVE SUCCESS!

The petitions are in and once again we have far exceeded the number needed to get certified. Thanks to all of your hard work, the Hoffa-Hall 2011 slate will submit more than 100,000 petition signatures to the election officer.

This is the largest number of petitions ever turned in by any slate in the twenty years of direct elections and shows that the Local Union leadership, Local stewards and the membership stand strongly behind the Hoffa Administration.

This is just the beginning of the campaign to ensure that our Union continues moving forward, despite the challenges our nation is facing. Jim Hoffa, Ken Hall and the entire slate are working hard to defend Teamster wages, benefits and working conditions from attacks from Wall Street and their allies in Congress. We look forward to unveiling a new campaign website in the coming weeks that will provide campaign updates and volunteer opportunities.
